Hartley McGrath has over eight-plus years of experience delivering training programs and conducting retreats on Emotional Intelligence and leadership. Her trainings are experiential, challenging and results oriented.
Along with being a corporate trainer and coach, she co-facilitates three Seattle University MBA courses that focus on teambuilding and leadership, conflict management and emotional intelligence. The Emotional Intelligence course is currently the highest rated elective in the business school. Hartley McGrath has been co-delivering Seattle University’ s Leading with Emotional Intelligence MBA course for 11 years. Today's one day training designed by Hartley McGrath along with her colleague Carly Cannell includes foundational concepts and highlights from that 70-hour course. She also helps lead an annual 7-day Emotional Intelligence trek to the Italian Dolomites.
Hartley coaches individuals and delivers trainings in organizations such as Boeing, the FAA, Microsoft and Whole Foods. She studied training facilitation and Emotional Intelligence at the National Training Laboratory in Maryland and recently took part in Google’s first public Search Inside Yourself program, which is focused on Emotional Intelligence and mindfulness. Pause, Inc. was created to support people in their Emotional Intelligence journey, recognizing that EI is an ongoing practice not something learned and mastered overnight. Her work along with her fellow facilitators is dedicated to other’s growth in becoming more authentic and compassionate individuals, leading them to have more fulfilling relationships and richer lives.
