Alysan Croydon has been an English language teacher and trainer in language, teaching pedagogy and Intercultural Communication for thirty years. She has provided training workshops on Intercultural communication for over fifteen years. Her clients include King County Library, United Way, Microsoft, the Literacy Council of Seattle, and numerous colleges. Between 1996 and 2008, she provided Intercultural Communication training to numerous clients of the Literacy Network of Washington.
She is an expert trainer and skilled communicator, and trains teachers and provides classes in engaging adult learners. She was educated at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London, UK, and received her Master’s degree from the School for International Training, Brattleboro, VT.
Her own workplace experience has included ten years in non-profit organizations with an intercultural focus. She has lived and worked internationally in Portugal, Egypt, Brazil, Costa Rica, and China, and has traveled widely.
